INSURANCE INSPECTIONS

4-POINT Inspection


This inspection reports on the systems Insurance Companies are concerned about.

We accumulate back-up documentation and photos to support all observations.


HVAC System  (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning System) - This segment

                      of the inspection will report on the Type of System, Age, Condition,                               and Location.


Plumbing System  -  This segment of the Inspection will report on the Type of

                      Main Supply, Fixture Supply, Main Drain, Fixture Drain, Age and                              Condition of System, Age and Condition of Water Heater.  


Roof System  -  This section of the inspection will report on Roof Covering                              (Shingles, Built-up, Tile, etc.), Age, Condition, and Estimated                              Remaining Life.


Electrical  -  This section of the inspection will report on the Size and Brand of

                    Main and Sub-Panel/s. Confirm Copper/Aluminum Branch Wiring,

                    GFI Receptacles Etc, and Unsafe Conditions where possible.

Wind Mitigation Inspection

(Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection)


The accurate performance and photographical documentation of this inspection may allow certain construction attributes of your home to qualify you for State of Florida Mandated homeowners insurance discounts. These include Roof Covering Replacement after 2/28/2002, Roof to Wall Connections, Roof Deck Attachment, Window and Door Protection and Secondary Water Resistance.



Floridians have learned first hand that it pays to be prepared.  To better prepare you, we have information to help you lessen the impact of a major storm or hurricane.  According to the Florida Department of Financial Services, before getting a Wind Mitigation Inspection, The average homeowner is overpaying homeowners insurance premiums by 22%.


Citizens  Roof  Condition  Certification


This Inspection identifies the Type of Roof Covering(s) (Shingles, Built-up, Tile, etc.) and  reports on the Condition and Estimated Remaining Life of the Roof Covering(s).  This Inspection is typically required by Citizens Insurance and other companies.  We accumulate backup documentation and photographs to the guidelines required to support observations.
